The Buffalo enclosure complies fully with the strict laws in France governing pool security. Safety is one of the manufacturers major preoccupations. Their aim is that your pool is a place for fun and relaxation and does not become a source of danger or concern. These enclosures have been certified to the standard NF P90 - 309, as recognized by the french authorities, including Prévenscop ESA in Toulouse and in Paris. The manufacturers of these enclosures were even consulted as experts, to assist the AFNOR commission in drafting the specifications for their safety standards, which were finally introduced in 2003. These enclosures are designed to take over when you cannot exercise complete vigilance for short or even prolonged absences. They provide much needed reassurance. Nevertheless we still strongly advise that you do not rely on them routinely as a substitute for proper adult supervision of children at all times.
