These roomy swimmimg pool enclosures are roughly semi-circular in cross section, so their height is around half their width. Please allow enough space to give sufficient head room at the sides. If the normal height is too great, we can produce lower profile domes at no extra charge.

Budget Air Dome Pool & Tennis Court Enclosures - tough UV protected polyethylene
Warm and wind free environment for bathers. The Budget Enclosure is an air inflated structure comprising of a polythene membrane inflated to a pressure sufficient to withstand windy conditions. The membrane is securely fixed to a concrete foundation with flush fitting anchors. Every Enclosure is manufactured individually to the customers size requirement. The Profiles of other sizes are pro-rata examples. Tailor made to suit your requirements.
Installation, Dismantling and Re-erecting. The initial installation will take approx. 4-6 hours, but once installed it can be dismantled easily within a couple of hours by two people. There are no protruding fixings once dismantled. Foundations and electric supply to the fan must be provided by the customer. Easily stored in garden shed.
Planning and Building Regulations. This is a rough guide only. Please consult your local authority if required. Typically if the Enclosure is not more than 3 metres in height, does not cover more than one third of the garden and is for private use only Planning Permission is not normally required. Relaxation of building regs is also not normally required if the enclosure is no more than 49 feet in length or width. General Development Order 1973 Class 1-3 general and Class 6 of schedule 2 of the Building Regulations 2nd Amendment refers.
| Cable fixing only. Prices include airdome membrane, fan in GRP box, one flap door, anchor fittings and anchoring cable. A 4"(100mm) thick concrete base or 9" x 9" (230 x 230mm) concrete ring beam or equivalent mass, is required for anchoring. Almost any size dome can be manufactured up to 36m x 66m (4 tennis courts). Membranes can last from six to eight years (depending on location and care) before they need replacing. | |||||
