Walu safety covers are made 40cm (16" or 1.33ft) longer and 40cm wider than the internal wall to wall dimensions of the swimming pool. For example a Walu safety cover for a 24' x 12' pool is actually made with dimensions 25'4" x 13'4".

For freeform swimming pools, such as kidney shaped pools, prices of Walu safety covers are based on overall cover length x width plus a 15% shaping surcharge. Rectangular Walu safety covers are not recommended over shaped swimming pools, because they may be prone to damage and wear prematurely.
