French style & sophistication. The most popular are our realistic pale sandy coloured reconstituted stone. Some of our customers have compared their texture to a creamy travertine marble, because of the slight pitting in the otherwise smooth surface.

We supply coping sets for pools of any size or shape. Curved copings are readily available for shaped pools. Also see our beautiful matching paving stones.

Please note, on some computers colours may appear darker than in reality. These copings have a glorious warm subtle pale hue which is difficult to reproduce here.

We recommend the 27cm (10.5") wide copings for small to medium pools, and 33cm (13") for larger pools. Thickness to paving is approx 25mm. Corners can be either 15cm (6") radius or 90o. These copings are bullnosed and slope back slightly from pool edge. There is also the option of wider flat copings.

Bubble Aspect - Anti-slip properties. The pale sandy buff is by far the most popular colour. Also available in natural-white and pale pinkish salmon beige.

With the traditional look of old French stones and a wide range of styles, Caraterra paving is full of character and atmosphere. An attractive and authentic looking addition to any environment. The Sahara line, with it's classical clean looks is the most comprehensive and popular range. There are many curves and angles to choose from, to suit every project. In a special manufacturing process, fine bubbles of air are passed through the reconstituted stone mixture. Once hard, these bubbles create a lovely "bubble aspect" feature plus a modicum of improved slip resistance.

Copings are laid with the rounded bullnose next to the pool and the back adjacent to paving etc. To follow a circle or D-shaped roman end you use normal curves with the rounded bullnose pointing inwards.

Reverse curves are only used around parts of the pool which curve towards the water. Looked at from the bullnose side, the middle is nearer to you than the sides.
