At the end of each pool season, before there is any chance of air temperatures falling to freezing, it is
vital to winterise your heat pump. This means the heat exchanger must be completely drained of all
pool water and covered to prevent any further water entering the unit. Failing that suitable
constructional measures should be taken by the customer to protect the heat pump both internally
& externally against damage from frost.
Attention: The warranty does not cover damage caused by inadequate winter shutdown measures
during the off season.

Please note that the maximum pool volume for these pumps depends on many factors, including the outside air temperature.
The range also uses R32 gas, an environmentally friendly gas, within the compressor which has no harmful effect on the ozone layer. This gas had 3x lower GWP (Global Warming Potential) than the R410A gas.
Pumps should be installed outdoors. As with any heat pump, you should always allow for adequate air flow to the unit.
Units should be installed by a qualified electrician.
