What are Meaco Dehumidifiers?
A dehumidifier is an essential appliance engineered to extract excess moisture from the air. High-humidity environments, especially enclosed swimming pools or damp rooms, constantly release water vapour. Meaco Dehumidifiers actively regulate this moisture content, pulling the dampness out of the air before it has a chance to settle. By doing so, they effectively prevent the buildup of condensation, stop mould growth and protect your building’s structural integrity and wall finishes from costly water damage.
How Do Meaco Dehumidifiers Work?
Without proper humidity management, a damp environment can lead to structural decay and an uncomfortable atmosphere. At AG Budget, we offer two main types of technology to combat this, depending on your room’s temperature and requirements:
Compressor Dehumidifiers: These highly effective systems function very much like a refrigerator. They draw in the damp air from the room and pass it over cooled coils, which causes the vapour to condense into liquid water. The water is then collected in a tank to be emptied when full, or the unit can be permanently plumbed into a drain for a continuous, zero-maintenance solution.
Meaco Desiccant Dehumidifiers: Instead of using cold coils, these units utilise an internal desiccant wheel to actively absorb water vapour as an integrated fan draws the air through the machine. Because they do not rely on refrigeration, Meaco desiccant dehumidifiers are exceptionally lighter, quieter and are the ideal solution for colder spaces below 10°C, as they also provide a gentle, energy-efficient warming effect to the room.
