This sacrificial anode is designed for new pool installations and is fitted inline. It helps protect pool lights, heaters and rails from damage due to galvanic corrosion.

The problem of galvanic corrosion can be easily stopped by using a sacrificial Zinc Anode, it simply allows the anode to erode before all other metals in the water. The in-line zinc anode is attached to the bonding wire. Zinc anodes will sacrifice themselves and corrode before all other metals in the pool. Zinc anodes need to be replaced approximately every 2-3 years.

The Anode is normally place between filter and heater or pump and filter.

Helps protect heaters, pool lights and rails from damage by corrosion.
