At the end of each pool season, before there is any chance of air temperatures falling to freezing, it is vital to winterise your heat pump. This means the heat exchanger must be completely drained of all pool water and covered to prevent any further water entering the unit. Failing that suitable constructional measures should be taken by the customer to protect the heat pump both internally & externally against damage from frost.

Attention: The warranty does not cover damage caused by inadequate winter shutdown measures during the off season.
