Our Niveko Monopools are made from 100% top-quality Polystone. Polystone is a compound that is largely made up of polyurethane, a resin that is mixed with powdered stone additives to provide additional weight, strength, and a ‘stone-like’ feel.
Polystone is an extremely wear-resistant material and it has a high impact strength. These Niveko monopools are manufactured by the welding of homogenous Polystone plates. These plates contain protective elements against the negative effects of UV radiation and swimming pool chemicals. The plates are completely homogenous throughout their cross-section, which means that osmosis is not possible. The colour is distributed throughout the whole plate evenly, not just as a top coat or a multi-layered colour.
