The Pentair Triton Side Mount Sand Filter is a top of the range sand filter, and a reliable option for keeping your pool free of debris. In fact, it is the result of decades of development, and has set the industry standard for reliability and efficiency.

Units feature an exceptionally strong one piece PE-lined fibre-glass reinforced polyester tank with a UV resistant finish, and a heavy duty closure with an air relief valve and easy-to-read pressure gauge. Their design allows for maximum flow and longer time between backwashing for the most economical operation and easy maintenance. The system also features a special diffuser which creates a uniform sand bed to consistently trap dirt without impeding the water flow.

Please note, units should be operated at a maximum continual operating pressure of 50 psi. Maximum operating water temperature (internal filter) is 40oC (104oF). Sand should be replaced every 5 to 8 years.
