French-made Walu Safety Covers are 3 covers in one – safety, winter and summer. The exclusive patented system allows individual composite panels to be replaced should they become damaged, without compromising safety (for all other systems the whole cover needs to be replaced). Covers are extremely easy to install and operate.

The Walu Evolution Manual Safety Cover for in-ground pools is manufactured from reinforced flexible composite fabric with anti-abrasion treatment, half-round anodised aluminium support poles, and stainless steel fixings throughout and have a maximum weight capacity of 100kg (approx.15.5 stones or 220lbs). The cover has adjustable and lockable anchor strap positioning so you can choose the most effective fixing point. NEW quick release system available as standard on the Evolution model

Support poles span the full width of the pool making it ideal for shaped pools, as well as rectangular pools. We can supply covers for any size or shape pool, up to a maximum pool size of 11m x 5m  (approx. 36ft x 16ft). Covers are made 0.4m (approx 16in) larger than the pool size in length and width. Covers can be made to incorporate ladder cutouts, step sections on the end or side of the pool at an extra cost.

The cover works via a crank handle manual rolling system. Covers are supplied with a crank handle which can be operated from either side, extra cranks are available for a two-person operation. For pool sizes over 50m2  the cover will require two-person operation and two crank handles will be supplied with the cover price.
