The Hayward SharkVac XL Pilot Robotic Pool Cleaner has all the benefits of the Sharkvac, but can also clean the pool walls and waterline in addition to the pool floor.
The SharkVac XL has an innovative, low profile, and robust design which efficiently scrubs and vacuums your entire pool floor, walls and waterline, filtering the pool water as it goes. Requiring little energy to run, these efficient units are suitable for all domestic pools up to 6m x 12m (20ft x 40ft), and can be used on vinyl, gunite, and fibre-glass surfaces. The dual cleaning mode function allows you to clean the pool floor only (approx. 3-hour cycle).
These clever units run completely independently of your pool’s filtration system. Powered by a separate electricity source, they are operated via two drive motors: one which sucks the pool water through a self-contained filtration system and then returns the filtered water to the pool, and one which drives the tracks that move the unit along its cleaning path. Quick and easy to use, all you have to do is plug it in, drop it into the pool, and turn it on.
This sleek machine is built with the highest quality components and features innovative technology for optimum pool cleaning ability. The Adaptive Seek Control Logic (ASCL) microprocessor calculates the size of the pool and ensures the unit moves in the most efficient path across the pool floor, walls and waterline. Totally hands-free, Smart Steering technology allows the unit will automatically change direction when it reaches a wall or the waterline, and it can easily manoeuvre itself up and down slopes.
Units are simple to maintain – the reinforced cartridge filters are easily accessed from the top of the unit and can be rinsed clean with a garden hose, plus, filter cartridges are interchangeable between models for simplicity. The roller brushes are easily replaced when required.
