The Plastica Slidelock Telescopic Reel is the original industry standard. It features polished stainless steel end stands, anodised aluminium telescopic tubes, plastic end bosses, and a steering wheel. It has a unique and fast slide and lock strap fixation, and a locking device which holds the tube in place to prevent the cover from unwinding. The Slidelock reel is strong and durable, and very easy to install.
Pool covers are only beneficial to the pool owner when they are on the pool. Speeding up the process of covering/uncovering the pool results in a significantly warmer and cleaner pool.

Widely regarded as the best domestic reel available. Manufactured from polished stainless steel and anodised aluminium. The Slidelock will give you years of trouble-free operation.
Small Slidelock tubes extend from 3.7m to 4.9m, for covers up to a maximum 4.6m width (12′ to 16′ tubes – 15′ maximum cover width)
Large Slidelock tubes extend from 5m to 6.7m, for covers over 4.6m up to a maximum 6.4m width (16’5″ to 22′ tubes – 21′ maximum cover width)
Simple To Use
Supplied with high-quality bearings and two steering wheels fitted with crank handles. The Slidelock has been designed to enable you to cover your pool quickly and with minimum effort.
Can be Supplied Motorised
Designed to enable you to semi-automate your Slidelock Reel. Optional Power Pack fits inside the reel. The power pack minimises the effort required to cover and uncover your pool.
Reduction Gearbox
Whatever size the pool, winding a cover off can be hard work. Motorised systems are a great option, but the high cost can be prohibitive. The Reduction Gearbox was created to make these concerns a thing of the past. It is a simple, highly effective 3:1 ratio gearbox which makes light work of winding a cover onto a reel.
Blue or Black Straps available.
Blue straps are standard but please let us know if you would prefer black. The maximum recommended cover area is 75m2 (approx. 807ft2). Some flexing of the tube may occur with larger covers. Reels should be set up to have a maximum 0.3m (approx. 1ft) overlap each side.
